The New Hampshire Health Information Center (NHHIC) embarked on a project to develop and implement standardized protocols for drug testing across various healthcare settings including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Development of Standardized Protocols

Research and Collaboration

The initial phase involved extensive research into existing drug testing protocols in local and international healthcare settings. We collaborated with stakeholders across New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services and the Division of Medicaid Business and Policy, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape.

Creation of the Protocols

After collecting and analyzing data, our team created the standardized protocols, which addressed varying healthcare scenarios and drug testing requirements. The protocols encompassed all facets of drug testing, including the preparation of the patient, collection and handling of samples, analytical procedures, and reporting and interpretation of results.
